Painful heels are usually due to a disease called Plantar Fasciitis.
Plantar Fasciitis is a thick fascia on the side of the foot attached to the heel bone, which causes pain in the heel.
Pain in the heel usually occurs in the morning once you put your foot on the floor.
There is many treatment options for the heel pain including;
- Steroid Injections
- Surgical Treatment, which is useful if other treatment fails
